A Maltapost van stolen on Wednesday from Rabat was found yesterday morning with all the mail still inside but with its four doors and the dashboard missing.

The van was taken as post was being collected on Wednesday evening in the vicinity of Nigret, the company said.

It was full of mail including letters collected on the day after 7 p.m. from Ta’ Qali, Mtarfa, Għammieri, Kunċizzjoni, Għajn Qajjet and Baħrija.

The van was found near the Turkish cemetery in Marsa without doors and dashboard, sources said. The keys were found inside.

Maltapost said all the mail was accounted for.

The police are investigating.
