Close to 6,000 applications have been received by the Malta Communications Authority from people wishing to benefit from the recently launched ICT4All training scheme.

The scheme entitles individuals aged years 25 and over to a €35 voucher that is redeemable against the ICTforALL training course – an initiative intended to induce more adults to start using ICT for a better quality of life and to enhance employability.

According to Eurostat statistics 91 per cent of those aged 16 to 24 use the Internet regularly, as do 61 per cent of those aged 25 to 54 and 22 per cent of those aged 55 to 74.
