The Fgura council has condemned the vandalism at Patri Redent Gauci Garden.

The council said in a statement that nine light shades were broken, probably when stones were thrown at them. An electricity pole was also pulled out of its place.

The council said that vandalised objects to be repaired would have to be taken from funds which had to be dedicated to other projects.

While the Fgura council condemned these acts, it also invited the public to pass on any information it might have to the police.
