Music is playing, spotlights are on and the photographer clicks away as he focuses on the now familiar face of model Tiffany Pisani whose piercing green eyes stare back into his lens.

“Chin up... Lean a bit more forward... Now intensify the look.... Very good; excellent,” photographer Pierre Camille tells Tiffany, as he shoots her new local Revlon make-up campaign.

She strikes a range of poses and concentrates only on Mr Camille, shutting out all the other cameras that have been allowed into the studio to capture the behind-the-scenes experience of the beauty shoot.

Tiffany became a household name in Malta when she was crowned Britain’s Next Top Model last month. The 18-year-old’s participation in the UK contest guaranteed a larger Maltese following for the already popular programme that was aired on Living TV.

Her prize included a one-year modelling contract with Models 1, Europe’s biggest modelling agency, a six-page fashion editorial spread and the front cover of the December issue of Company fashion magazine as well as a cosmetics contract with Revlon UK.

She was also chosen to be the face of Revlon Malta’s autumn/winter campaign, to be launched next month – it was shot yesterday at Mr Camille’s studio in Naxxar.

“We had actually chosen Tiffany for the campaign before she won the contest since we knew she was one of the contestants and would become a bit of a local celebrity... When she won, of course, we were delighted,” says Matthew Debono, Revlon Malta’s marketing executive.

“We can’t really go wrong with Tiffany. She’s such a nice girl to work with,” he adds, as he stands behind Tiffany while her hair and make-up are being prepared for the shoot.

Tiffany, who cried during the contest’s filming when her long, blonde hair was chopped off, is now used to the style and no tears were shed when the hairstylist trimmed her brown style.

Since winning the contest she has been living with other models in the UK and has been busy going on various castings and representing Revlon in stores.

She arrived on Saturday for the local make-up shoot and is here until tomorrow. “It’s nice to catch up with my family while I’m here,” she says, adding that life has been hectic in the UK...but she loves it.

Does she ever get tired of all the hair, make-up and attention? “Not at all. If I did I wouldn’t do it.”

Her boyfriend, Jeremy Perici Calascione, supports her in her career and is even present for part of the photo shoot. He is hoping to move to the UK with her once he secures a job there.

They have been together for three years and while her sudden spiralling to fame had made things “a bit crazy”, things between then have not changed one bit, he says.

Shortly before he leaves the Naxxar studio the couple say goodbye with a heartfelt hug.

Meanwhile two little fans of Tiffany – Sam Zammit Cutajar, 10, and Julian Beacom, 9 – take the opportunity to make their move and manage to get a personalised autograph.

Make-up artist Graziella de Giorgio outlines how to get the Tiffany look this season using the Revlon products used in the campaign, a combination that suits most skin tones.

Foundation: Clean and moisturise your face. Apply Photo Ready Foundation all over your face and jaw line using your fingers for a light cover or a sponge for heavier coverage.

Eyeliner: Frame your eyes with brown Colour Stay eye pencil around the top and bottom lash-line.

Eyeshadow: Using Colour Stay eyeshadow (quad in silver fox), apply the light silver shade all over the eyelid. Dab the darker grey shade on the outer corner of the eye and underneath the lash line. Apply the mauve in the socket line and under the lash line. Apply the bright turquoise to the inner corners of the eyes. Finish off with black eyeliner inside the eyes.

Mascara: Apply two coats of Double Twist mascara on the top lashes. Using the dry brush, apply a light coat on the lower lashes.

Lipstick: Use mink shade of Super Lustrous lipstick without applying lip liner.
