May I ask all authorities concerned to see to it that in front of each parish church a disabled reserved parking bay be assigned. I also ask all parish priests to insist on the necessity of such parking bays with their respective local councils. I fail to understand how right in front of nearly each parish church, or very close by, fishmongers, fruit sellers and bread sellers are allowed to park and sell their products, especially on Sundays.

Furthermore, here in Sliema, where the majority of residents are elderly people and which area is continuously frequented by people from other towns and villages, I would say that two and not one disabled reserved parking bays should be installed in front of each parish church.

May we all act like modern Europeans.
