Christopher Bezzina, currently a member of the Faculty of Education and former Permanent Secretary to the Education Ministry, has been awarded the Fellowship of the Commonwealth Council for Educational Administration and Management (CCEAM).
This award is conferred on educators whose contribution to the study and practice of educational management and leadership is assessed as outstanding. The Fellowship was conferred to Prof. Bezzina during an official ceremony organised at the CCEAM conference in Sydney, Australia last month.
He was recognised for his work towards achieving educational reform and developing the professional learning of others, as well as for his national and international contribution in the field of educational leadership and his role in the establishment of the Malta Society for Educational Administration and Management.
