Ten arrested for drug possession

Ten people were arrested last Friday night on suspicion of drug possession, police said.

Nine of them were found in possession of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis at a party in Paceville. They are aged between 19 and 34 and reside in Gozo, Fgura, Paola, Msida and Balzan.

Another man, a 34-year-old Briton, was arrested in Qawra after he was found in possession of cannabis.

The individuals are expected to be arraigned shortly.
