Following successful completion of all centre approval requirements with the City and Guilds Group, Misco is now recognised as an approved City and Guilds centre.
As a City and Guilds centre Misco will be extending its training portfolio to offer City and Guilds awards in ‘Office procedures’ and ‘Customer service’.
City and Guilds qualifications are recognised worldwide. This is important for both employers and employees. Employers look for individuals with sufficient job-related training to ensure they are building successful teams. Holding a recognised qualification helps employees get the job they want.
Speaking about Misco’s City and Guilds programmes, Wendy Raywood, assessment manager, said the qualifications will enable individuals to pursue their career goals. “They demonstrate our progression towards aligning our courses to the National Qualifications Framework, so learners and employers are assured of the quality and level of what we are offering.”
After completing the qualifications, students can progress to further studies in Malta or seek employment opportunities across Europe. The second group to complete the Award in Office Procedures will be launched on Thursday.
Bookings are currently open for Awards in Office Procedures and Customer Service. To register on a City and Guilds programme or arrange a personal meeting with Ms Raywood to discuss any aspect where Misco can support employees or organisations, e-mail wraywood@miscomalta.com or call 2205 4602.
