Stands promoting Malta as a “place in the sun” at a property exhibition in Birmingham generated a lot of attention from those seeking to investment in a property on the islands.

Belair Real Estate took part in the property exhibition, which featured a large Malta pavilion aimed at helping revive a favourite market that experienced a decline in the past couple of years.

The pavilion was the result of a joint effort by the Federation of Estate Agents, the Malta Tourism Authority, local developers and real estate agencies.

Earlier in the year, Belair also embarked on marketing initiatives in South Africa, where a number of nationals are taking up residency in Malta due to the various benefits the islands have to offer.

Education, healthcare, tax benefits, first point of access into the Schengen and eurozone, proximity to other European countries, the mild weather and, most of all, the low crime rate, all contribute to making Malta an enticing place to take up residency.

Belair’s letting team has returned from Copenhagen where it attended the EIG, a popular annual iGaming congress, which involves various companies and individuals based or resident in Malta. The congress was a good reminder of the iGaming community’s strength and how beneficial it is to the Maltese economy in general.

Amid all this activity and the launch of its website, the latest issue of Belair’s real estate magazine will be published with The Sunday Times tomorrow. It is designed by Mediamaker Limited and printed by Progress Press, members of the Allied Group of Companies.
