The Malta Resources Authority received 1,831 applications for grants on photovoltaic panels from Maltese residents and 254 from Gozitan residents between July and August this year. Between February and October, there were a further 290 applications for grants on purchases of solar water heating systems across Malta and Gozo.

The number of applications accepted were 68 in July and two in August.
