Air Malta will not operate today’s flight to Paris Orly airport because of an traffic control strike in France.

The airline said that due to restricted airport resources, the French aviation authority had asked all air carriers to reduce their traffic programmes into Paris.

Passengers booked on outgoing flight KM466 are being offered the option of travelling on flight KM478 to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, which is due to depart at 1.15 p.m. Similarly, passengers booked on the incoming KM467 flight will be able to fly home on KM479 from Charles de Gaulle to Malta, leaving from the French capital at 5 p.m.

Air Malta said flights to and from Lyon, Toulouse and Marseille would operate as scheduled.

It apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers and urged them to call flight enquiries at Malta International Airport on 5004 3333 for further information.
