Azimut’s Magellano 50, the range’s mid-size model, was unveiled at the Genoa International Boat Show earlier this month.
The Magellano 50 boasts low-emission engines, high-performance hull and propellers, anti-UV film applied to reduce heat exchange through the glass surfaces, the tracking of consumption and tank levels capabilities, and LED lighting.
For many years now, Azimut Yachts has considered the quest for optimum eco-compatibility as one of its top priorities. For this reason, being the world’s first shipyard to achieve RINA “Green Plus” accreditation in the mid-sized vessel segment, is an exceptional triumph for the company’s design team.
Further certification from the Forest Stewardship Council guarantees the wood used on board comes from forests that are managed in conformity with eco-sustainable criteria.
The Magellano 50 offers a hybrid propulsion configuration which means up to 80 per cent elimination of noise, greater cruising comfort and a further reduction of consumption during short day-cruises
