MIZZI. On October 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, SANDRA, aged 36, after a long illness borne with Christian fortitude. She leaves to mourn her great loss her partner Glenn, their children Adam John, Martina and Julia, her father Joseph, her sister Maryann, her niece Claire and nephew Stephen, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for Sta Venera parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

ZARB. On October 23, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, CARMELO of Għargħur, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Anna, his daughters Maria and her husband Mario Psaila, Teresa and her husband David Birmingham, her nephews Declan, Ciaran, Roisin, Aidan and Elise, her sister Lieni, Berta, widow of his brother Kelin, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. for St Bartholomew’s parish church, Għargħur, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at St Bartholomew Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

All Souls service

Din l-Art Ħelwa and Friends of Ta’ Braxia Association will hold an All Souls service at the chapel of Ta’ Braxia Cemetery, Pietà, on November 2 at 11 a.m. Rev. Canon Simon Godfrey will conduct the service.
