Etihad Airways receives top ranking in survey

Etihad Airways was ranked number two in the Top Airlines Global category in the annual survey of over 25,000 Condé Nast Traveller readers worldwide. Singapore Airlines came first.

Etihad Airways, which came second was recognised for its outstanding achievements as an airline, receiving the award second to Singapore Airlines and ahead of its Middle Eastern competition.

Etihad airways is code-sharing with Airmalta, providing Malta- based travellers with access to Etihad Airways’ 60+ routes.

Peter Baumgartner, Etihad Airways’ chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to be recognised by global travellers in this way. The award is testament to the commitment of our staff, whose continuous contributions to the airline ensures that the added value of our innovative products and services is recognised internationally.

The awards annually rank the best cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, hotels, resorts and car rental agencies around the globe.
