A group of 11 artists from the Art Club 2000 of Mellieħa recently attended a course in the art of Afresco in Treglio, a town in Abruzzo, Italy.

The course was organised by the Treglio council. The tutor was the renowned afresco artist Vico Calabro. This is the third time that Art Club 2000 has participated in this course with the aim of reviving this ancient art.

The year, the afresco murals were done on the façades of houses in Treglio. Prof. Calabro praised all members of the Art Club for their talent and also for the way they were able to master this old technique.
