On August 24, I went to ARMS Ltd at Luqa and gave them the required forms, including meter readings, as I had moved to Msida. I also gave a written claim for a meter refund of a few hundred euros, which I had paid when I moved to Tarxien. I was told a refund cheque would be issued “shortly”.
Nearly two months have passed and I still have not received my refund.
Trying to phone was useless. I sent two reminders and didn’t even get an acknowledgment. Instead, I received an electricity and water bill used at my former Tarxien house up to September 20.
For paying my last bill a few days overdue, they charged me interest. Will I now be paid interest on my overdue refund? I hope I will receive my refund. Confusion is rampant. Customer care should be changed to “customer, I don’t care”!
