PM in Athens for launch of climate initiative
Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi is in Athens to take part in the launch of the Mediterranean Climate Change Initiative.
He is accompanied by Malta’s ambassador for climate change, Michael Zammit Cutajar.
Dr Gonzi is expected back in Malta later today.

Maybe if they tried to start the same initiative from Malta rather than travelling to Athens could have saved some fuel burned by their aircraft to take them to Athens and so in itself could have been a real positive initiative for climate change. Unfortunately politicians only want to show off and talk about climate change, rather than taking real actions. The only real actions are to introduce new taxes under the excuse of the environment and climate change.

I guess he's there to show off the decision to get a heavy fuel oil power station!
I mean, seriously, cant someone explain how they would attend a climate change initiative, when even a 10 year old child that has played Sim City knows that a heavy fuel oil power station is incredibly polluting???
