Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero has an added motivation to find the back of the net at Bologna on Sunday.

Del Piero is one goal shy of becoming Juve's all-time Serie A scorer.

The former Italy international struck in last weekend's 4-0 win over Lecce to match the record of 178 league goals for the club set by legend Giampiero Boniperti.

"Boniperti has always said that he would be happy if I was the one to break his record," said Del Piero.

"I will call him back and and ask him if that is the case, but I'm certain that his joy is genuine."

Del Piero says there is only one secret to his achievement.

"One always has to have aims," he said.

"You have to work with passion and enthusiasm in order to enjoy this career.

"I've always done that and will continue to do so."

Del Piero and Juve go into the contest fifth in the standings.

Inter Milan would like nothing more than for Samuel Eto'o to keep up his goalscoring form when they host Sampdoria on Sunday.

The Cameroon international fired Inter to a narrow win at Cagliari last weekend before scoring twice in his team's 4-3 triumph over Tottenham in the Champions League.

AC Milan, meanwhile, are desperate to forget Tuesday's European setback - a 2-0 loss at Real Madrid - their first slip in the Europe's elite club competition this season.

Massimiliano Allegri's men are focused on making it four wins in a row when they take on Napoli at the San Paolo on Monday.

Milan, who are joint second with Inter in Serie A, lie two points adrift of league leaders Lazio.

Lazio will attempt to extend their unbeaten run to seven games when Cagliari come to town.

The Romans have kept a clean sheet in their last three games.

Genoa, meanwhile, have suffered a blow ahead of Sunday's match against Catania with Rodrigo Palacio ruled out for a month.

The Argentinian striker got hurt in Genoa's 2-1 defeat at Roma last weekend and is sidelined with a thigh injury.

Roma fans will be praying captain Francesco Totti can end his goalscoring drought at Parma this weekend.

Totti has failed to score in 11 official games for Roma this season.

The Giallorossi head into the game in 13th place, and on the back of Tuesday's 3-1 defeat by Basle in the Champions League.

Udinese and Palermo will battle it out at the Stadio Friuli with both sides looking to make it three wins in a row.

Chievo are at home to Cesena looking for their first win in Verona since their Serie A opening triumph over Catania on August 29.

Strugglers Brescia travel to Lecce on the back of three consecutive defeats.

Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic will be under pressure to take a win against Bari on Saturday.

Mihajlovic has led the Florence outfit to just one win in Serie A so far.

Last weekend's 2-1 defeat at Sampdoria dropped Fiorentina to the foot of the standings, with five points from seven games.
