Updated: Corpse found off Marsalforn

The corpse of a Maltese woman was recovered from the sea off Marsalforn this morning.

The body was spotted some 100 metres offshore by people on the shore. It was recovered by personnel of the Civil Protection Department.

Informed sources said the body was of a Maltese woman, aged between 40 and 50. There were no signs of decomposition.

The police are investigating
