Birkirkara by-pass was partly closed this morning following a collision between two cars heading towards Lija roundabout.

The incident happened close to Ta’ Paris when one of the cars appeared to have hit a low boundary wall, spun and also hit the crash barrier on the other side of the road. It then it another car which was going in the same direction.

No one was injured but part of the road was closed and traffic was diverted towards Birkirkara. The road was reopened at 9.40 a.m.
