Fashion and glamour on the small screen

It’s another stylish season on TVM as Venere once again seduces all those who love the world of fashion with a series of artistic shoots using some of Malta’s top models, stylists, make-up artists, fashion gurus and – of course – photographers.

As with previous seasons, Venere pushes the boundaries when it comes to the local fashion scene. Expect to see gorgeous models, tantalizing dresses, extravagant hair do’s, alluring make up and witty photographers. Now into its eight season, Venere was the winner of the award for best lifestyle programme during this year's Malta Television Awards and this year promises viewers and even more glamorous and daring experience.

The brainchild of Unique Promotions, the organisers of The Malta Fashion Awards and Motion Blur, the production house which has created numerous top-notch TV programmes, this season’s show will take viewers through the process of creating the superlative photographs we are accustomed to see on the top fashion magazines.

Through the elaborate creative thinking process, through every stroke, cut and click the audience will experience what these people call their work. Creative teams of the most enthusiastic, upcoming artists will do their utmost to impress the audience with the most innovative and inventive master piece. They will share with us their experience, their joys and frustrations as hours roll by in a continuous race against time.

Through what has become coined as MTV style editing and always-close-to-the-action-filming, Venere will capture the major highlights, the turning points and all the emotions of the photo shoot and the preparations. Offering a mix of reality and artistic filming, the end result is a cocktail hard to resist.

The last season of Venere was received with critical acclaim by thousands of people - this year’s production will take a different angle, going behind the scenes of purposely created photo shoots that revolve around eight models.

Venere will be aired every Sunday at 7.15 p.m. on TVM.
