In a drive to strengthen support in raising awareness on breast cancer, Debenhams is teaming up with the Breast Cancer Awareness Group to spread information about the illness, its prevention and care after treatment.

This week, BCAG members are handing out information leaflets to Debenhams customers and offering one-on-one sessions in the privacy of customer care rooms to women wanting to know more about the illness.

The outlet is also offering a free professional bra fitting service and a discount. Debenhams will give BCAG a donation for every item sold.

The BCAG in Malta supports and encourages newly diagnosed breast cancer sufferers and those undergoing treatment. It helps them through the recovery and offers support and advice for life after treatment.

“Debenhams has long been committed to help women who have undergone treatment for breast cancer to once again reclaim a positive body image and feel good about themselves,” said Kevin Gollcher, Debenhams’ general manager.
