As part of their calendar of events, Mellieħa Athletic Club are once again organising the Buġibba 5K race.

The race will take place on Sunday, starting at 8 a.m. from near McDonald’s in Buġibba and finishing in the town’s main square.

Athletes are encouraged to take part with registration taking place on the same day of the race from 7 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three athletes in both the men’s and women’s categories plus the overall winning team. All participants will be presented with a commemorative medal.

The registration fee is €5.

The Buġibba 5K race is sponsored by Women 2000 and Jescar Construction.
