International artists for comic convention

The second edition of the Malta Comic Convention, an international event for comic artists and lovers, is being held at St James' Cavalier in Valletta on October 16 and 17 between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m..

This year's convention, being sponsored by MaltaPost plc, will be attended by Claudio Castellini, the illustrator of Spiderman, DaveWindett best known for his work on a variety of animated characters from Warner Bros and FOX, and Gary Erskine, who drew Warheads for Marvel UK.

A one-day ticket costs €7 and a two-day ticket costs €12. Tickets can be obtained from the door or by visiting www.sjcav.org .

Children under 11 years enter free.
