The second volume of Signs, an educational book on sign language, has been launched, following the publication of the first volume in 2006.

The book was partially financed by the European Commission. It includes a CD with video clips of people acting out the signs.

Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sport Clyde Puli said the book was intended to help people with a disability, especially those with hearing impairment, to communicate better.

“Communication is an important part of man’s life, as a person needs to communicate with the people in the community to be a part of it,” Mr Puli said.
