Jonathan Balzan and Rachel Galea won the main titles at the Attard 10K race.

In the men’s event, Balzan finished ahead of Drew Lang, Jimmy Sacco, Andrew Grech, Jason Martin and Rodney Cassar. Galea, for her part, crossed the finish line ahead of Marthese Mercieca and Charmaine Mifsud.

The race was organised by the Attard Athletics Club with the assistance of the Local Council and Athletics Malta.

The club’s top-five finishers were Philip Farrugia, Willie Ghiller, Ray Vella, Manwel Bezzina and Louis Galea.

The organisers also had the backing of Scotts, Bankok, Vella Bros, TeamSport, Fruitland, Collis Williams, Seracino’s, Miracle Foods, Nectar and Lamb Brand.
