Liquigas Malta Ltd is distributing informative leaflets to all Maltese households with tips for safe and efficient use of gas cylinders.

"There are a number of ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ that are meant to minimise any possible risks and keep safe," the company said.

“LPG is a convenient and remarkably safe fuel for domestic use, being cooking or heating. We believe, however, that educating the consumers is not only important but essential as safety must be everyone's concern. When dealing with LPG, it is important that the proper and safe handling of gas cylinders is fully understood and correctly applied,” said Liquigas Malta’s CEO, Roberto Capelluto.
