The Voci Angeliche Choir of Xagħra recently sang during Pontifical Mass celebrated by Archbishop Paul Cremona to mark the 10th anniversary of Malta Day and the feast of Our Lady of Victories at Westminster Cathedral, London. The choir, under the direction of Grace Vella, sang Sancti Josephi Calassantii Mass by Oreste Ravanello and various hymns in English and Maltese. The choir was accompanied on the organ by Mro Christopher Muscat .

The Mass was attended by Oxford Archbishop Vincent Nichols and the Maltese community in the UK, among others. After Mass, the choir took part in the procession of Our Lady of Victories around the streets of London.

Earlier in the day, the choir sang Maltese folk songs accompanied by St Sebastian’s Wokingham Brass Band.
