BORDA. On October 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUISE, née Earley of St Julians, aged 75, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable loss her husband Tony, her children Anna and her husband Vincent Rizzo, John and Edwidge, Joseph and Diane and Dr Maria and her husband Mario Cachia, her sister Isabelle Manduca and her brother Ernest, her grandchildren Mark and his wife Christine, Adam and Maria, Peter, Anthony, Kurt and Thea, Malcolm, Miguel, Andrew, Emma and Louise, her great-granddaughter Aaliyah and her nephew of Australia Paul. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2 p.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to The Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

BORG. On October 8, at Karin Grech Hospital, ANTHONY, (ex-S.Sgt, RMA), of Gżira, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Mary, née Cutajar, his son Charles, his daughter Elizabeth and her husband Michael Sultana, his grandchildren, Etienne, Sharon, Beverly, and Kenneth, great-grandchildren, Mikyle, Leeon, Cherlene, his brothers and sister, his-in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Luke’s Hospital today at 7.45 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors.

DANIELS. On October 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, ADELE STELLA of Birkirkara, aged 85, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved daughter Stella, her grandson Daniel, her friends Martin and Vivienne Debono and many others. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1 p.m. for the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to SPCA, Floriana, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

PARIS – MARILYN, née D’Andria. In loving memory of a beloved wife, devoted mother and grandmother on the 14th anniversary of her death. We all await reunion in the Lord. Her husband Cecil, her children Kenneth, Simon, Edward, Nicky and Alan, her in-laws Sarah, Nicky, Anna, Jean-Paul and Faye, and her 12 precious grandchildren. A prayer is kindly solicited.

Cathedral Museum

The Cathedral Museum in Mdina will be holding an Open Day tomorrow to mark the anniversary of the cathedral’s consecration. There will be two guided tours, one at 11 a.m. led by Mgr Prof. Vincent Borg, and another at 4 p.m. led by Fr John Sammut. The museum will be open between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend.
