BORDA. On October 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, LOUISE, née Earley, of St Julians, aged 75, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her irreplaceable loss her husband Tony, her children Anna and her husband Vincent Rizzo, John and Edwidge, Joseph and Diane and Dr Maria and her husband Mario Cachia, her sister Isabelle Manduca and her brother Ernest, her grandchildren Mark and his wife Christine, Adam and Maria, Peter, Anthony, Kurt and Thea, Malcolm, Miguel, Andrew, Emma and Louise, her great-granddaughter Aaliyah and her nephew of Australia, Paul. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on October 9 at 2 p.m. for St Julians parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
BORG. On October 4, HELEN, aged 83, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Tony and his wife Josephine, Ritchie and his wife Patricia, her grandchildren Christopher, Mark and Alison, her great-grandchildren Jade and Caine, her sister, her brother and their respective families, many relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, October 9 at 8.45 a.m. for St Julian’s parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.15 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi cemetery. He leaves to mourn his great loss his beloved wife Maurine, his daughter Martes and her husband Charles Galea, his grandchildren Rachel, Rebecca and Nathan, his brother Walter and his wife Esther, his sisters Georgina, Jessie, Jane and her husband Emanuel and Antoinette and her husband John, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 2.30 p.m. for the Familja Mqaddsa parish church, Iklin, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m., followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. FRENDO. On October 6, DORIS, wife of the late Antoine Frendo, passed peacefully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Peter and his wife Daniela, Corinne and her husband Dr Richard Camilleri, her grandchildren Daniel and Rebecca, her sister Maria and her husband Antoine Ruggier and her brother Michael Zarb Adami and his wife Carmen, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. GATT. On October 5, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES (ex-Deputy General Manager, Mid-Med Bank), of Sliema, aged 73, passed away suddenly, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his irreplaceable loss his wife Maryann, née Wells, his children Suzanne, wife of John Torpiano, Andrew and his partner Michelle Attard, his in-laws George and Silvia Wells, his nieces and his many relatives, colleagues and friends. JAGLA – MARIA, née Agius. On October 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Stefan, her son John and his wife Eileen, her daughter Helen and her husband Graham, her cherished grandsons Trevor and his wife Sarah, Keiran and Patrick and great-grandson Finlay, and Irene, daughter of Stefan, her brothers Carmel and Joseph Agius, her sisters Helen and Dorothy, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral took place on October 5. Donations to the Malta Hospice Movement, Balzan, will be appreciated. May the Lord grant her peace.

She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Mario and his wife Sylvia, Lily and her husband Freddy of Canada, Mary and her husband Joe of Australia, Andrew and his wife Katie, Josephine, Katherine and her husband Joe, Joseph and his wife Joyce, her eight grandchildren and her seven great-grandchildren. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 8 a.m. for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church Fleur-de-Lys where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
