Two drug overdose deaths reported during first six months of this year
During the first six months of this year there were two deaths reported as having been caused by drug overdose, Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici told Silvio Parnis (PL) in reply to a parliamentary question.
In the same period 260 people had been convicted of drug possession and 51 of drug trafficking.
Dr Mifsud Bonnici said the police held no information on the number of people who graduated from drug rehabilitation programmes.
