The nightclub I referred to in my letter of September 27 is an open-air premises.

It somehow managed to obtain a licence to keep playing loud music till late at night, thereby depriving residents their right to a peaceful night’s sleep.

I was of the belief that nightclubs got a permit to keep on playing only if the music was being played indoors, which is not the case here. Nobody has the right to deprive residents of their sleep; nobody!

There must be something truly wrong with who is issuing them with a licence and with the police letting all this happen right under their nose.
