Vodafone launches new student tariffs

Vodafone has launched new tariffs for students embarking on University and Junior College semesters, which include an offer to keep in touch with three best friends for free using the latest technology.

During Fresher’s Week, Vodafone Malta is showcasing the iPhone 4 and other mobile phones will be available at a ­discount.

By topping up with at least €10 monthly, all students will be entitled to free calls and text messages to any three Vodafone numbers.

To subscribe students must send an SMS to 5091 5751 with their Smart Card number and follow it up with a call to 16245 to choose their three preferred friends.

Students may also apply for the all-inclusive monthly pack. For €15 a month, students will be entitled to unlimited calls and text messages to all Vodafone numbers, plus 2GB of Internet data a month on their smartphones. Students have to send an SMS to 16200 with the word Playmonthly.

Vodafone’s data packs, purchased through smartcard are available for the duration of the whole scholastic year, from October to June. Starting at €50 for the scholastic year, the data packs range from internet bundles, internet keys to all inclusive packs including a choice of ­netbooks.
