A good number of people turned up to visit Malta’s prehistoric temples of Hagar Qim and Mnajdra this morning, making the most out of a fee free day.

Heritage Malta, which is responsible for the temples, set up a number of info points at the visitors’ centre opened a few days ago and other areas.

Information on the temples, their interpretation and design, the tents project, the conservation of stone and other objects, the natural surrounding environment and past scientific projects were provided.

Visitors could also look at the clay works and obtain information on the finds during excavations.
