American fashion designers set out to conquer Paris

The American fashion marketplace "Designers and Agents" is setting up shop in Paris for the first time, audaciously throwing down the gauntlet to the French industry during Paris fashion week.

American designers say it's time they increased their European presence with fresh, cutting-edge creations at a time when a weak dollar against the euro also helps competitiveness.
