ATTARD. On September 30, at Capua St James Hospital, Sliema, ALFRED, aged 64, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved and dedicated wife Monica née Trevisan, his sons Mario and his wife Edel and granddaughter Rebekah, Franco and his girlfriend Helena, Adrian and his girlfriend Joanne, his sisters Sr Maria Antonietta, Elizabeth, Carmelina and Maria, his brothers Frank, John, Godwin and Tony, his in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Capua St James Hospital tomorrow for San Ġwann parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9 a.m. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

BRINCAT. On September 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, MICHAEL, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Annie née Ellul, his daughter Mariella and her husband Steve Muscat, his beloved grandchildren Lara and Zach, family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30 p.m. for St Mary’s parish church, Qrendi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Qrendi cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

PORTANIER. On September 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, CARMEN, née Ellul Mattei, of Ibraġ, aged 78, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Victor, her daughters Susan and Ruth, her grandson Luke, her brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, in-laws besides other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital, tomorrow at 8.30 a.m. for Tal-Ibraġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Special thanks to all the members of staff at the Day Care Unit for their excellent care and constant attention. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
