Some 25 soldiers this morning carried out voluntary work at the Dar tal-Providenza in Siggiewi, in celebration of the AFM's 40th anniversary, on October 1.

Other anniversary activities include blood donations at Luqa Barracks on Wednesday, a concert on Thursday and a guard of honour and mass on Friday.

An AFM Day will be held at Mgarr harbour on Saturday.
