11 a.m. The President receives the Malta Olympic Committee together with the Maltese contingent participating in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India, at the Palace, Valletta.

Noon. The President receives a courtesy call from members of the International Police Association.

Tuesday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over a press conference launching L-Istrina 2010 and distribute cheques to beneficiaries of L-Istrina 2009 at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30 a.m. The President receives Jean-François Delahaut, Ambassador for Belgium.

5.30 p.m. The President visits Senglea council and meets the mayor and councillors followed by a meeting with Senglea NGOs.

Wednesday

10.15 a.m. The President visits the Logos Hope, berthed at the Valletta Waterfront.

7 p.m. The President visits girl guides during the preparation of the piggy banks to be distributed for L-Istrina 2010, at the Bank of Valletta Centre, St Venera.

8 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Chinese Ambassador Zhang Keyuan and Zhang Shufeng on Chinese National Day, at the Grand Hotel Excelsior, Floriana.

Thursday

11 a.m. The President visits the MMDNA premises in San Ġwann.

The President departs for Cyprus.

Friday

8.30 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over a Malta Community Chest Fund working committee meeting at San Anton Palace, Attard.

Saturday

The President arrives at the Malta International Airport from Cyprus.

Sunday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela pay an official visit to Senglea.

12.30 p.m. The President visits the Armed Forces of Malta open day at Luqa Barracks.
