Man placed on probation for resisting officers
A 30-year-old man from Birzebbuga was this morning placed under a probation order after he admitted to violently resisting police officers.
Alexei Farrugia was also charged with threatening and offending the officers, using foul language, breaching the peace and disobeying police orders.
The man was ordered by the court not to approach the officers, their homes or places they usually frequented against a fine of €1,500.

What if the police reacted to his provocation? Would they also be handed over a probation or threatened to lose their job. Maybe what the court is suggesting is for the police to react by giving a different approach towards the criminal.
