The news that Heritage Malta wants to transform Fort St Angelo into a cultural experience is most welcome.

We have such a rich historical heritage and it would be a pity if we do not make every effort to show it to visitors. Unfortunately, a lot of our heritage is kept under wraps, when it could be enjoyed and appreciated by tourists and locals alike.

For instance, there are some places in Sliema which have historical and artistic value. Surely they could be promoted and appreciated as part of our architectural and historical heritage.
