Water games were recently held in Xlendi on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

The main attraction was the greasy pole (ġostra) competition, which was won by Steve Xuereb of Victoria.

Other games included swimming, canoeing and paddle boating.

Trophies were presented to the winners and participants were given a medal.
