‘Twelve Steps’, which was performed at the Citadel, Victoria, 10 times, came to an end on September 18. This interactive experience, organised by Victoria council, involved a performance in which the public was free to participate. ‘Twelve Steps’ is similar to the ‘Gioco-spettacolo’, so popular in Tuscany.

The 14 characters involved in this voyage through time included, among others, the inquisitor, the pirates, the Knights of Malta and St Paul.

Victoria mayor Samuel Azzopardi said: “We envisaged something creative and innovative. The gameshow will be held again next year, with some rethinking and innovation. We are monitoring the feedback from the actors and participants. We need to be more creative and fresh. ”
