Two return Air Malta flights will be affected by an air strike in France today, the airline said.

They are KM466/7, the Malta – Paris Orly – Malta service, and KM478/9, serving the Malta – Paris Charles De Gaulle – Malta route.

KM416/7, flying from Malta to Toulouse and Lyon and returning to Malta, and KM436/7, flying from Malta to Marseille and returning to Malta, will operate as normal.

The French Aviation Authority asked all airlines to reduce their traffic programmes into Paris, meaning that passengers booked on the KM466 Malta to Paris Orly flight have been given the option to fly on KM478 Malta to Paris Charles De Gaulle flight instead. The flight is scheduled to leave Malta at 2.15 p.m.

For the return leg, passengers booked on the KM467 Paris Orly to Malta flight are being offered the opportunity to take the KM479 Paris Charles De Gaulle to Malta flight, which leaves Paris at 6 p.m.

Air Malta apologised for the inconvenience caused, stressing it was totally beyond its control. It urged clients due to travel on the affected flights to contact flight enquiries at Malta International Airport on 5004 3333 or the call centre on 2166 2211 for further information on arrival and departure times.
