Marsascala roof garden
I refer to the article regarding the approval of the first development of an apartment block with a rooftop public garden.
Well done to the mayor and councillors of Marsascala. On behalf of the residents of Triq il-Baħħara and Triq il-Gandoffli, and 650 residents whose signatures were collected in a petition against this project, we would like to thank them for all their help.
They should be proud that Marsascala is to be the first village on the island to have a public rooftop garden on top of another monstrous development of apartments and garages.
Let’s hope they take good care of it.
On behalf of the residents, I would like to say a big thank you to Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar, particularly to Astrid Vella and Carmel Cocopardo, for all their help in our cause.

Mayor Mario Calleja, when are you going to take action against the illegalities being committed in Marsascala?

Go to the photos link Mayor and open the stairs, construct the others and re-widen the other stairs some of which have been taken over by restaurants. That is if you want the people to believe that you are working for them and not for the restaurant owners
