Tudor Month at FXB Prestige showroom

FXB is currently hosting Tudor Month at its Prestige by FXB showroom in Msida where discounts of up to 20 per cent are available on all the Winchester Oak range of furniture.

This Tudor style furniture collection is exclusive to FXB showrooms and is the only Tudor period reproduction furniture manufactured in Malta.

This range includes hall furniture, main bedrooms, with or without four-poster bed, dining rooms, studies, bookcases, and displays, and living room pieces.

FXB, one of Malta’s leading furniture, started producing the Tudor range in 1998 and is inspired by the classic furniture that knows its origin to the Tudor and Elizabethan period.

Produced entirely of imported American oak timber and veneers, this range features extensive and intricate carved motifs that are faithful to the designs of the Tudor period. Solid oak is used extensively throughout the range, especially where carving is featured.

“The Tudor range was designed for export to the UK market, a market where reproduction furniture is still in great demand,” FXB managing director Joseph Borg said. “The same year we launched the range in Malta in 1998, we started exporting it to the UK where it achieved instant success among the discerning customers who immediately appreciated the detail and quality in the craftsmanship. These were and still are the main factors that drive the success of our Tudor range.”

The Winchester Oak range, produced by FXB at its manufacturing plant in Gozo, is a registered brand that mirrors the demanding challenges of modern reproduction manufacture.

FXB’s Tudor range is easily recognisable from its three trademark door motifs namely, the Abbey linenfold motif, the Windsor motif and the Stratford motif.
