Expectations are high for the fourth annual HSBC Premier Valletta Boat Show which will be held from today to Sunday. Dock 1 in Cospicua has already taken on the air of majesty that this event brings with it. Over 70 exhibitors from all over the world will take part in this year’s event as prestigious names from the boating and yachting industry will grace the shores of Dock 1 in specially-built stands and gazebos.

“The boat show seems to be outgrowing its locations year after year,” said event organiser John Formosa. “It will be a challenge to find a place for the next edition in 2011, when Dock one will be undergoing a much-needed facelift.”

He added that the HSBC Premier Valletta Boat Show “is a natural extension to his publications Boats And Yachting and On Deck. Malta’s capitalisation of its natural resources such as the sea that surrounds us, have certainly helped put us on the boating and yachting map of the world as leaders and innovators in certain areas.”
