The Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA) has organised a furnishing homes scheme to support families and people in need by helping them furnish their homes and live a more comfortable life.

Through this project, YWCA collects good quality furniture and white goods donated by local furniture companies and supporters.

It distributes them to individuals living in sheltered homes, single mothers and families living in poverty. People receiving government social benefits and other socially underprivileged individuals are also eligible to apply.

People interested in acquiring furniture and white goods under the scheme can call at the YWCA Office, 177 Valley Road, Msida, to fill in a request form.

YWCA will be open every Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.

Furniture companies, shops and supporters who would like to donate furniture and white goods can call 2144 5221 or 9983 0382.
