Michael Briguglio was recently appointed member of the advisory board of peer-reviewed academic journal, International Journal of Green Economics.

The journal proposes and fosters discussion on all aspects of green economics and is of interest to academics, researchers, students and activists in various social sciences.

The journal’s editor is Miriam Kennet and the advisory and ­editorial boards include distinguished academics such as Andrew Dobson, Alan Lipietz and Graciela Chichilnisky.

Mr Briguglio is assistant lecturer in the Sociology Department of the University of Malta and one of his areas of academic interest is environmental ­sociology.
