• A credit note can be either more than what the law grants us or less.

• Before accepting a credit note we should keep in mind that unlike cash refunds a credit note has a number of limitations.

• Once we accept a credit note we cannot afterwards change our mind, even if legally we were entitled to a cash refund.

• When there is nothing wrong with the goods returned, if a credit note is offered it should be accepted gratefully.
