I am a resident of Archbishop Street, Valletta. Recently the entire road between Republic Street and Merchants Street was paved. The process was slow but the quality of the material used was good and I must say that the works were carried out in an adequate and professional manner.

The other day, a van transporting paving blocks (which shall be used for the lower part of Merchants Street) drove through Archbishop Street and spilled oil all over the newly paved road, thus considerably staining it. This is simply a disgrace.
